Hi my beautiful girls and guys!!
It has been a while since i have updated the Lady L Lets Loose Blog! Forgive me! I know you will :-)
Things have been so super busy coming into the 'festive' season!
I have been running around like a 'Mad Lady!'

I hope you are all looking forward to the Christmas break and have got some wonderful things planned!
I love Christmas, its my favourite time of the year! We get to eat great food and have an excuse for the extra 5 kilos! But, my absolute favourite part is giving! You know when you buy that special someone a little something special whether it be your parents, partner, soul mate, brother, sister or best friend and you just cant wait to see their face when they open it! Its the best feeling when a thought that comes in a solid form can make someone so happy!
Not so exciting if they don't like it though! ;-p

How is everyone else celebrating their Christmas?

It has been such a magical experience and pleasure being a part of the community at The Bank, a Huge Thank YOU to all the staff and crew of this amazing venue! To all the girls and guys who have been following and supporting me from overseas! I will TRY TRY TRY my hardest to come and see you in the States in 2012! I want to thank you ALL for reading and being such a HUGE inspiration to me as a lesbian and in defining who we are and also sticking together in our battle for equality! Christmas With Lady L

Christmas is my favourite time of year!

Full of smiles, laughs, gifts, love and lots of amazing food! Its an excuse to eat drink and be merry right?
The are so many exciting things happening this Christmas, i have to share it with all of you as i don't want anyone to miss out on some spectacular shows and events!!
This time of year has come around way to fast and in no time we will be living in 2012! Where does time go! To all my single and ladies in love, what will you be doing this Christmas? Feast with friends? Beach BBQ? Family Lunch?

Here's what's on Lady L's platter this Christmas!

So this month i have a very fun photo shoot happening (Christmas theme) of course with my wonderful photographer Tyrone David and my loyal makeup artist, stylist very good friend Nick Brown!
I am so excited to show you guys the pics from the shoot- tinsel, glitter, candy canes, Mrs. Clause and so many more things i will be playing with! Make sure you keep your eye out as the photo you guys vote as your favourite will be the photo chosen for the LOTL magazine Lady L Christmas edition. Where you all get to come and meet me and participate in a very fun photo shoot of your own!

I will also be appearing at Lemons with a Twist on the 2nd December.
Having a chat with the lemon ladies and a special performance for this great event! Come down and say hi! I would love to see you all there!

December will be touched by a lot of Lady L love around Sydney with a very special Christmas performance on the 21st of December at Bank Hotel Newtown! This will be the Christmas show not to be missed, with DJs till late, Live Bands, Live performances and so much more!  I would love to see you all there! We will also be having a special Love Hour with Lady L in her very own photo booth!

Last but most definitely not least still TBA- Lady L is teaming up with The Frocks on their Frocks Afloat 'Girlz Of Summer' cruise on the 10th December!!! Imagine drifting into the warm summer sun at 12 noon with 4 hours of GREAT live music, Djs, dance floor, eye candy, fun atmosphere, single ladies, cocktails and all those goodies! Lady L Visits The Gold Coast

Have you ever dreamt of being on a tropical island filled with lush colourful plants, warm ocean surrounds, hot sun and the most amazing scenery you can imagine? 

Well now just add a gorgeous DJ, Eye Candy podium dancers, girls in Bikinis EVERYWHERE! Delicious BBQ'd goodness, open bar, rainbow balloons and so much more!!

The Hello Sailor cruise was just FAB! 

The crowd of people that went were a great mix! As usual there were more guys than there were girls but in saying that, there were a great number compared to other events!

The cruise took off and the DJ ripped up some fresh tracks as we glid along the ocean to our survivor island destination! Drinks were had and the girls got wild!

As the boat pulled up to the island, it was like we had found a secret hideaway! 

As we walked through the rainbow covered archway into a tropical dance party like no other everyone got to know each other..........very well!! :-)

There were Jet skis, kayaks, seaplanes, portable spas, mermaids and so much more!

The weather was perfect and watching the sunset over the horizon was magic!

I was lucky enough to meet some GREAT people!

On board was our two lucky LOTL winners who won two tickets to the Hello Sailor Cruise

She says: "OMG I dont know what to say but THANK YOU SO MUCH....My wife and I had a great weekend away to Surfers to see Hello Sailor! Thank you soooooo much for a sensational weekend xxxxx"

These girls had a blast! I was very lucky to have met these two beautiful women! 

The story they shared was so heart-felt it bought tears to my eyes! 

I take my hat off to you both as your strength, courage and wisdom was more than an inspiration.

In my next blog i sit down and share their story. 

You will be moved and its one that i think all my followers should read!

The BEAUTIFUL boys from DNA Magazine; Brodie and Rob were the Perfect partners on the trip! 

Definitely found friends for a lifetime! They made this trip absolutely wonderful and weren't they easy on the eyes! ;-)

All in all, my Gold Coast weekend was filled with laughs, new friends, catching up with old ones, way too many photos and a new love for yet another part of the country!

Girls and guys i recommend you check this out for next year! Its not to be missed!!

Ash was one of the dancers in the late-night show performed last Saturday night at Escape Bar

These girls are absolutely gorgeous inside and out! I will also be having an exclusive chat to ash and her best friend Renee about being a performer on the Gold Coast and where she is headed in the future!

Maybe we will see her here in Sydney!

Lady L's Followers Pop The Question!

Its not often I get asked a question like this one but i thought it was one of those questions which most girls are interested in reading about!

Via the Lady L Fan page on facebook; http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lady-L/246679132031864 a question was asked- "Lady L, my girlfriend and I are wanting to get into great shape and start some healthy eating habits. What is it that you specifically do to stay in good shape? "

So, i really like this question because a healthy body is a healthy mind and visa versa!
Its amazing how much a negative mind can impact the state of your body! So i will start by saying that first thing is first- Make the commitment! Decide what it is you are wanting to achieve and then work out your game plan!

It is important that you understand what steps you need to take in order for you to reach your final destination and be clear to yourself on each stepping stone!
Write up on your wall or a daily reminder on your phone of what you are aiming to achieve on a daily basis. for example; TODAY: Gym 1.5 hours, Abide by set meal plan and obtain a minimum of 8 hours sleep. At the end of each day if you have achieved your goals, make sure you reward yourself! Not with chocolate of course but something that will make you feel good about powering through your stepping stones to reach your ultimate goal!

Now that you have put yourself in the right frame of mind and have set your goals, ensuring you remain motivated and committed to reaching what you have set yourself. You then need to set in your meal plan! It is important to remember that your diet makes up for 80% of your weight loss or 'get fit' mission. and the other 20% is your exercise! I cant tell you how important your food consumption is and how the quality of food you consume determines the quality of health you achieve.
Your diet is THE MOST important thing and you must remain faithful to it and stick it out to really feel the results! Eating unprocessed, natural and organic foods will immediately provide you more energy, more buzz, more stamina, endurance and also untoxify your body.
A proper meal plan should be sourced form your personal trainer or someone in the nutrition industry so you gain maximum support. However all bodies are different and need different things, the main points i will suggest are as follows:

- All organic produce
- Do not add any salt or sugar to your meals
- GREEN veggies are a MUST and LOTS OF!
- Minimum of 400g of protein a day! (Chicken, Steak, Fish, Turkey etc)
- Do not consume any foods containing artificial colours or preservatives
- Drink at least 2 litres of water per day!
- Keep your carbs to a minimum
- Allow yourself a 'treat' day so you aren't going to crave
- STAY FOCUSED!

There are so many things which factor in to a healthy lifestyle, such as maintaining a well rested sleeping pattern, No smoking, limited drinking, regular exercise, limiting small stresses in your life, balanced diet, positive mindset and so many more!

I exercise as often as i can and only eat natural foods which i know will provide me with all the nutrition i need for my daily schedule. Its important for me to stay fit and healthy as it keeps my mind active.
I make sure that i am fully hydrated everyday, so i carry with me the 1.5 litre bottle of water everywhere i go. As i am training to compete next year in a sculpting competition (which you will be hearing more about soon) i need a large amount of protein in my diet for my weekly training.
It all comes together once you have locked your stepping stones together to create your game plan for your ultimate goal!

The Happiness Attitude By Lady L

How does she do it? Lady L has her ways of always being able to turn a frown into a smile and its time to share her secrets of how to create happiness in your life when things get TOUGH!
We sat exclusively with Lady L and had a chat with her about how she does it!
We uncovered some secret stories about our Lady L and how she got through some tough battles!
She is an inspiration to many in how she is constantly smiling and maintains a positive attitude every single day.

So Lady L, what was the turning point for you when you decided to take action in being a positive, energetic and such an inspiring person?


"Oh, well i guess the energizing and inspiring part all comes with the choice of being positive.
It's amazing what can change for you when you make an attitude choice.
I guess for me, it was a time in my life that i realised how unhappy i was in a world where i was living to try and please everyone else and look after everyone else's needs and ignoring what my own heart desired.
I was exhausted day in and day out as the things i enjoy most in life were not being exposed to sunlight. I found myself in a relationship where i felt drained of my positiveness.
It's tough to remain happy when you are held back from doing the things in life that you enjoy and that are important in making you 'feel good'.
As anyone would, i got tired of being unhappy and although i would be breaking two hearts, i knew i would be making the same two hearts much happier in the long run by making a decision for ME. Which was to begin a whole new journey starting with HAPPINESS and introducing the things that make me smile into my life so that when i wake every morning i have no excuse not to be happy!"

So what do you do to stay happy and positive? 

"To be honest with you, its really very simple!
Happiness is a choice, just like every other emotion! I wake up each morning and decide what mood i would like to wear, its just like choosing what you would like to wear for the day. Its amazing what good things happen when you are able to mentally put yourself in a state of mind which will deliver you positivity, energy, enthusiasm, excitement and so much more! I know it sounds silly but take this quote for example; "Nothing has meaning, except the meaning you give it" What i mean by this is, we are all very different, we all have a different up-bringing, different opinions, different systems and different thoughts so the way we view a certain object, situation or event will never be truly the same as another because we are drawing our reactions from different life experiences and from what we have taught ourselves growing up. Does that make sense? So really what I'm getting at is regardless of all of these elements, we all have one 1 thing in common and that is the ability to make a decision. To give any meaning we want to something!
We can all decide on how we react to something or how we feel about something, we all have the ability to wake up each morning just like i do and be whatever person we want to be."

How do you deal with really TOUGH situations? 


"Again, this will be different for everyone,  but the one thing i always say is it takes courage to accept the things you cannot change and wisdom to know the difference. Take from that what you will but i will never waste my time or energy on things that i have no control over, i will deal with it and then move right on. In saying that though, i do believe its just as important to give whatever negative situation you find yourself in the right amount of 'dealing' time. So that the issue is either completed or resolved.
Be strong, tough times are times of learning. There is always a lesson to be learnt or a reason for it happening. In every negative situation there is a positive, you just have to find it and when you do i can bet you will surprise yourself! When i lost my father i spent two years in complete misery and continued to be a helpless wreck, i was so used to feeling empty, i was too afraid to smile or feel good as i felt this guilt wash over me. In the end, i realised that the world was moving on around me, people came and went, multiple birthdays were had, new friends were made and there i was, so far behind it wasn't funny! It wasn't me! The next day i got up, i looked in the mirror and decided right there and then exactly who i want to be as a person. my morals, my values, my charisma, my stride, my presence. From that day forward i haven't looked back, i did it for me and i know he is proud!"

What's one piece of advice you could give to help our readers achieve their ultimate happiness?


"Ah, don't you love the advice question! (laughs) Well, I'm a motormouth so ONE piece of advice is a tough call! Ah, you know what just be true to yourselves, know what it is that makes you smile and make sure you get a dose of it everyday! We all get so caught up in wanting things we don't have but no one stops to think about the things we don't have that we don't want!  Always remember that YOU are YOUR OWN NUMBER ONE! If you do not believe that, you will end up being one very unhappy person. Always persist to achieve your goals and don't ever lose sight of what you truly want in life! After all, we only live once! Just Live, Lust, Laugh and Love! (giggles)

Lady L Talks Dirty!

Girls, Girls, Girls! Don't you put on a show!

As i walked through the doors to the Hip Hop world of Dirty Talk @ Oxford Hotel on Saturday night, i could feel the rhythm leak into my veins and flood me with the greatest beats and sexylicious entertainment! 

Tara and Nat sure do know how to put a party on! Well done girls for sweetening the scene with your Dirty Talk! Stef from the Lady L Crew was infected with the electric atmosphere and loved every minute of the talented fems that performed on stage!! "I think she was ready to bust out a move on stage herself" It sure was HOT in there! From booty 'shakin' to love 'makin' Dirty Talk sure did put a smile on my face! What a night!

The dancers were faultless! i could have fried an egg on the steam they created on that stage! Sexy from their head to their hip hop toes! Girls, who agrees with me that when you see a girl who knows how to dance... you get the fuzzies!! Do you know what i mean about the fuzzies! Yes? They really hit the spot!

Girls, i have to say... my favourite part of the night was my red lipstick stained cheek!

Red lipstick is so sexy and especially at an event such as Dirty Talk...   Do you wear lipstick? 

Does the colour of your lips reflect what kind of person you are? 

I would think that a woman who wears red lipstick reflects a sense of power and authority, class and sassiness, intelligence and seductiveness. 

Red lips can be so hypnotic and draw you in like a bee to honey! 

Well, they do say that red is the colour of passion! :-)

Lady L Is Getting Creative

Im sitting here on my mac, listening to the rain thunder down, sipping on chai and intensely brainstorming some fabulous, eccentric and sassy ideas to create one hell of a performance for all you gorgeous women!
Im excited to say that, creating a show which will be launched soon at an event you all MUST attend, is very stimulating and all very intense!

While i have my brain on overdrive and and purring along, i have a few questions for you! So i can make this exactly what you want, because i am all about bringing in something new, fresh, unique and quirky, I want to know what you want to see? What do we need more of when you go out and watch a performance? I want to know so i can then incorporate all your ideas into what the scene needs and satisfy your craving for amazing entertainment!
I wont reveal too much as this is going to be a MUST SEE event! You can not miss out on the launch of Lady L and her amazing performers!

Lady L lets loose at Girl On Top

Wow! What an exciting, interesting yet intriguing night I had at Girl On Top on Saturday upon the top level of Sydney's most expensive rooftop- Centre Point Tower! As the venue filled its walls with beautiful women, we scraped the stars with the most electrifying house music injected by DJ’s : Nugget (Melb) + NatNoiz (Syd) + Virginia Le (Melb). The night grew as the drinks were poured and wow didn't i get a few 'unforgettable' snap-shots! As the LOTL crew roamed the floor we discovered that the number 1 lady drink of the night was by far-  the infamous Corona! You ladies just absolutely LOVE this stuff dont you! Its interesting to see which ladies liked the sweet drinks vs the beers! And as usual, beer most definitely over-ruled! For me, hmm let me see i would think that a nice Midori Splice would have gone down well! I like fruity drinks with a smooth aftertaste! Yum!  


What a great job 'Lick' have done in creating this amazing event! Well done girls! I for one cant wait for Dirty Talk which is the next big girl's event in Sydney! This will be one great night! So the question on my mind is, after having the LOTL crew chase around women all night to give them the super cute and sweet 'date cards', I want to know how successful they were! Did anyone receive one? Did someone have their eye on you? Makes me wonder, if there really is a 'key' to telling someone you are interested in them! How would you go about it in a club environment? Girls, you have to agree with me when i say, we all love a woman with confidence and personality right? (not too much confidence or you may end up wearing your drink) Its true, when confidence shines through and you approach someone they are most likely going to engage interest with you, as you have opened up the possibilities to a fantastic conversation!  None of this shyness, just go right up there and introduce yourself! If all else fails, swipe them a 'date card' thats Lady L's advice for the month! 


Well, what a pleasure to have met so many fabulous and entertaining women at Girl On Top! 
You were all stunning and i have never seen so much 'bootay' shaking in one room! To the girls who missed out on this spectacular event! Keep your eyes peeled as there is much more love to come!
